1st Sawbridgeworth Scout group was established in 1908 – less than one year after Lord Baden-Powell first established the Scouting Movement.

In the past 104 years countless people in Sawbridgeworth and the surrounding area  have been involved with scouting in one way or another.

The Group presently totals over 160 persons (girls & boys) from the ages of six to twenty five who make up the sections – Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

The volunteer leadership team consists of 26 Adults and an executive committee of a further six people (that are not leaders)

Sawbridgeworth Scouts are part of the Bishops Stortford Scouting district
