cubsCubs are between 8 – 10 and a half years old

Cub Scouts enjoy new adventures while making new friends along the way. Their commitment is recognised by over thirty activity badges. As well as regular weekly meeting, Cub Scouts also enjoy activity days, weekend camps and pack holidays.

Cub Scouts Like:

  • Going camping
  • Playing games
  • Exploring the outdoors
  • Trying adventurous activities – such as climbing, sailing and archery
  • Meeting people from their local community
  • Experiencing the culture of other countries
  • Keeping themselves and others safe


Meeting Times and Leaders:

Monday – Mohawk Cub Pack – 6.30pm – 8pm – No regular Leaders – Any volunteers?
The Pack is only managing to survive because of Nick (GSL) and Maureen, who are running two sections.

Wednesday – Blackfoot Cub Pack – 6.30pm – 8pm – Andy Everett, Chris Challis, Simon Couper
and Dave Williams (Deputy GSL).

Friday – Cheyenne Cub Pack – 6.30pm – 8pm – Alexandra Atkins, Nick Goff and Mark Brett.

To join the Sawbridgeworth waiting list contact Jenny Lane who is responsible for new entry to all sections.

If your child is moving on from Beavers there is no need to join the waiting list, please speak with your Beaver leader.
